Bourbon & Bubbly is the culinary event of the Roanoke summer season. Once again two local non-profit organizations, The Southwestern Virginia Chapter of the American Culinary Federation and the Roanoke Hospitality House invite you to enjoy this Southern Culinary Soiree.

Date: Saturday, August 28, 2021

Time: 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm

VIP Experience Guests: starts at 4:30 pm

Venue: The Glen at Glenburn Farm (see map at bottom of page).

Expected dress: Summer soirée attire

What To Expect

Amazing culinary fare, award-winning cocktails, and beverages, live entertainment all presented at The Glen, a spacious venue with stunning mountain views.  This event will no doubt be an end-of-summer celebration not to be missed.  All proceeds go to the two community-focused non-profit organizations.

In this case, the purpose is to support the two amazing charities and to have a wonderful time doing so!

COVID-19 Statement

The event will be held at The Glen, a beautiful and spacious venue with ample indoor and outdoor covered space to provide room to practice distancing.  We will be following CDC, VDH, and Governor of Virginia guidelines in order to host a safe event.  As the guidelines change, we will adjust accordingly.

6:00 pm – Silent Auction bidding begins, register prior to bidding.

6:15 pm – Appetizer station opens

6:45 pm – Presentation by the Charities

7:30 pm – Silent Auction bidding ends

Street Taco Station – Presented by Smithfield: Chipotle Chicken Tinga; Pork Carnitas & Barbacoa.

BBQ Board – Pulled Pork Carnitas: With various BBQ Sauces, slider rolls, pickles, jalapenos & Cole Slaw.

Low Country Boil:  Shrimp, sausage, fire-roasted corn, over jalapenos grits.

Heirloom Tomato Slider Station.

Nashville Hot Chicken Sliders, with pickled cauliflower slaw.

Vegetable & Fruit Station.

Appetizer Table: Charcuterie board, shrimp, pimento cheese, pork rinds & more.
